SOW INSIDE
in seed trays of soiless compost in spring. The seed is very tiny so needs a very light covering of compost. Cover the tray with glass until germination. Prick out when large enough into small pots and grow on.
SOW OUTSIDE
As the seed is so small, this is risky unless grat care is taken. Sow in spring.
GROW
in well drained soil
SITE
in half shade or sun.
HARVEST
the upper half of the stems when the plant is in flower
DRY
by haning outside in a warm place out of direct sunlight. When leaves are crisp, store at once.
STORE
in airtight jars and keep in a cool dark store.
USE
Wormwood tea or powder is used as an insect repellent. It is also highly regarded for treatment of female ailments
