SPINACH Perpetual Description:
Not a true spinach but well worth growing as it supplies excellent large dark green leaves on thin stalks spreading from the base of the plant. Sow any time from March to September. Very winter hardy.

WHERE TO SOW

Sow direct into the growing site 2cm (½”) deep in rows 35-45cm (14-18”) apart.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

Do not transplant seedlings. As the seedlings appear, gradually thin until plants are 20cm (8”) apart. Pull leaves rather than cut as required, leaving plant to continue developing.
