Description:
Very special. From the mountains of Greece - the true fiery aroma of Greek cooking. Quite unlike normal oregano. Rare.

WHERE TO SOW
Outside - in spring. The tiny seed should barely be covered with very fine soil and watered well. Thin seedlings and transplant when large enough.
Inside - any time in seed trays or small pots. Use a peat compost and sow very thinly. Cover with glass until seedlings appear. If the temperature is kept at 20° C germination will be high.
WHERE TO GROW
In any good garden soil that is well drained. Site in full sun.
HARVEST
the leaves any time, but for drying, pick the leaves and flower heads before the sun is too hot. Dry on a tray in a cool oven (door ajar) or in the airing cupboard.
TO STORE
Rub the leaves into an airtight jar and store in a cool dark place.
