Description:
One of the most favourite plants for early garden cover. The large flowers produce strong bold colours, which contrast well against the green foliage. These plants prefer moist and shady conditions. Also suitable as a pot plant.

SOW

Thinly in trays in a cold frame and cover with glass to retain moisture. Remove cover as soon as seedlings emerge. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart. Plant out into flowering position 20cm (8") apart in September or October. Keep moist and shaded during summer. Germination occurs best at cool temperatures 15°C.
