Fabruary to March

WHERE TO SOW

Sow into pots and trays in a good compost under glass at 22-24 ° C. Cover the seeds lightly with sifted compost.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2”) apart. Grow on and gradually harden off before planting in the flowering site 20cm (8”) apart from late May.

HANDY TIP

For a later show of flowers, sow direct in the flowering site in May, and thin to 20cm (8”) apart as seedlings appear. Dead head regularly to provide a summer-long display.
