WHERE TO SOW

Sow the seeds in pots or trays under glass at 21-24 ° C. Cover with compost about 2mm deep and water well.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out into trays spacing seedlings 5cm (2”) apart. Grow on and gradually harden off before planting outside 35cm (14”) apart form late May.

HANDY TIP

Will grow well even in poor soil but does not like a sunny position. Can also be sown direct outside form late April.
