Solitary noidding bell shaped flower of deep purple sometimes white with a chequerboard pattern. A most beautiful and rare flower. Habitat: moist meadows. Lillacea. Ht 22cm WHEN TO SOW March/April or August/September. WHERE TO SOW Weed free seed bed, mixing the seed with a quantity of dry sand to help spread it more evenly. Lightly rake over the soil and roll or firm the ground. WHAT TO DO NEXT Water in very dry weather and then soak the soil thoroughly. |
