This is an old Italian variety for spring or autumn cropping. Non-uniform in maturity and produc-ing over a long season. After the main head is cut a large yield of spears (side shoots) is produced. Delicious and tender. Approx 65 days to maturity. s/c 250

Early sowings under glass at 13°C Later sowings into a seedbed.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Prick off indoor sowings into trays 5cm apart, thin outdoor sowings to 5cm apart. Harden off indoor plants before transplanting. Transplant when 15cm tall spacing 45cm apart.
