WHERE TO SOW
Indoors - Early sowings in glasshouse or cold frame in individual pots. Gradually harden off before planting out in late May.
Outdoors - Direct sowings in growing site, 2 seeds 6cm deep every 20cm in rows 60cm apart.  Thin to one seedling as soon as large enough to handle.  Water regularly.  Protect plants from slugs during early stages of growth.
