WHERE TO SOW
Outside in early spring in a shallow drill, spacing out the seed. Cover lightly with soil and water well. Transplant when large enough. Grow in rich soil retaining some moisture. Site in sun or partial shade.
HARVEST
Young leaves for use fresh and for drying.
DRY
By spreading the leaves on a tray placed in a low oven (door ajar), or in an airing cupboard.
STORE
In an airtight jar and keep in a cool dark store. |
