H114 HENBANE (Hyoscymus niger) Bi/Po

Erect, course plant, with pale green, hairy leaves up to 30cm long. Yellow-brown or cream flowers on short stalks in leaf axils during summer. Oil of Henbane or a poultice of fresh leaves, may be applied, externally, to relieve rheumatic pain. Sometimes used as a sedative. But , be careful, this plant is POISONOUS. Ht 100cm.
