Description:
A really outstanding strain of Thai Basil with dark green leaves and deep purple flower stems. Excellent spicy aroma and flavour.

All basils enjoy hot sunny weather so sowing should be delayed outside until early June and plants should not be put outside until well into June when the nights are warm. All basils will grow well in pots and do particularily well in greenhouse, polytunnel or even the kitchen window sill.

March to June
WHERE TO SOW
In pots or trays at 22°C cover lightly with compost. Sow direct in growing site from mid June.
WHEN TO TRANSPLANT
As soon as seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into small pots. Transplant to growing site in June or into permanent containers, thin idrect sowings to 15cm apart.
