Description:
We believe this to be the true sacred basil from Thailand used for growing around the Buddhist temples.A pretty small plant with mauve/pink flowers and deep purple stems. Delicious scent. Used in Thai cook-ing with stir fry hot peppers, chicken, pork or beef. Ht 30cm (12") 200 plants

WHEN TO SOW
March to June.
WHERE TO SOW
In pots or trays at 22° C. Cover lightly with compost. Sow direct into growing site from mid June.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
As soon as seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into small pots. Transplant to growing site in June or into permanent containers. Thin direct sowings to 15cm apart.
