ANGELICA (Angelica archangelica) Bi/Vh
A most stately plant, which are very decorative when dried. Angelica is used extensively in herbal medications. It’s used to treat fevers, colds, coughs etc. It is also said to strengthen the heart. Dried Leaves may be used for tea and young stems may be candied. The main ribs of the leaves can be boiled like celery and the young stems cooked with rhubarb to remove acidity.
