CORNFIELD MIXTURE

Description:
Containing the bright and colourful flowers of the old cornfield including Poppies,Corn Marigold and Cornflower.Will brighten any garden. Best to grow in full sun. Can be sown in September/October or in early spring on lighty cultivated soil. By cutting down after seeding in autumn and lighty ciltivating the soil this mixture will flower year after year from its own seed.

PREPARATION OF SITE
Prepare a weed free seed bed and rake smooth. Sow the seed by broadcasting evenly over the site. Rake the seed lightly into the soil and roll or firm the ground. Protect from birds. Sow the mixture if possible in August/September or March/April
MAINTENANCE
Cut down in September after seed has fallen and rake off debris. Clear any unwanted weeds. Rake over the soil or very lightly cultivate and rake smooth and roll or frim. Many of the seeds will start growing before the winter. The mixture will seed an area of approximately 2 square metres. Your Cornfield flower patch can be extended ater the first season with the extra seed produced. This mixture contains a selection of the following species. Minimum 8 varieties.
Corn Buttercup - White Campion - Chamomile - Corncockle - Cornflower - Field Forget-me-not - Larkspur - Corn Marigold - Wild Pansy - Pheasants Eye - Scarlet Pimpernel - Red Poppy.
The packet is filled by volume and contains approx imately 10gms of seed.
