Description:
A climbing plant grown as an annual or a short lived perennial and can reach up to 2 metres in height. Flowers are borne in pretty spikes and vary in colour from white to rich purple. Pods are flat blunt and slightly curved, about 10cm long. Use both fresh or dried and the immature pods, young green seeds and leaves are all edible. s/c 50

WHEN TO SOW
February to May.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow two seeds in each pot under glass at 16° C night and day. Later sowings can be made in May direct into growing site.
WHEN TO TRANSPLANT
Greenhouse seedlings should be gradually hardened off before planting outside in late May.
